With Spring in full bloom and Easter nearly here, The Peninsula Hong Kong is inviting guests to celebrate with a delightful line-up of festive seasonal menus, which includes a unique collaboration with Beatrix Potter’s iconic storybook character, Peter Rabbit™.
Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea at The Lobby
More than 120 years after his creation by renowned British author and illustrator Beatrix Potter, the iconic Peter Rabbit will arrive in time for Easter at the Grande Dame in the form of a special themed Afternoon Tea at The Lobby (main pic above).
The family-friendly menu, featuring quintessentially English preparations from Executive Pastry Chef Florian Couteau and Chef de Cuisine Anton Ho, offers an enchanting opportunity for diners with children to enjoy an Easter meal together.
The exclusive menu is full of tempting treats, featuring savoury bites such as Mr McGregor’s garden vegetable quiche, Poached shrimp, crab and radish pita bread, Honey-glazed ham and cheddar cheese sandwich, Roasted beef striploin, rocket and horseradish mini buns, and Classic cucumber sandwiches with cream cheese.
Sweet treats will include:
- Blackberry Battenburg cake.
- Puff choux with camomile-infused English Cream.
- Carrot cake with cheese cream.
- Dark chocolate mousse tartlets with white chocolate mint ganache.
As always, the traditional and much-loved scones with clotted Cream and strawberry jam will accompany these menu offerings.
As an egg-xtra special surprise, all children under the age of twelve partaking in the Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea will be gifted a lovely Peter Rabbit and Pen Bear colouring book.
The Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea is available from now until 26 April 2023 and is priced at HK$ 468* for one person and HK$ 868* for two.
Exquisite Easter Meals at The Lobby
Chef de Cuisine Anton Ho has curated special, four-course Easter lunch and dinner menus for guests to savour in The Peninsula Hong Kong’s timelessly elegant Lobby restaurant.
The finest seasonal ingredients are showcased in dishes such as Organic egg with duck liver royale and pike perch roe, Seared tuna with pomelo jelly, watermelon, tomatoes and sherry dressing, 24 month-aged Iberico ham with fig jam, feta cheese, and rocket, Pan-fried seabream with fennel pollen, caramelised butternut squash, and lemon emulsion, U.S. flat iron steak with artichoke, potato gnocchi and beef jus, Boston lobster “à L’Américaine” with bone marrow and heirloom carrots, and for dessert, Carrot cake with pecans, cinnamon, cream cheese, cookies, and vanilla ice cream.

The Verandah: An Evergreen Easter Favourite
The Peninsula Hong Kong’s ever-popular Verandah restaurant has introduced lavish Easter lunch and dinner buffets, offering a wide selection of cuisines together as well as traditional Easter specialities. Available from 7 to 10 April 2023, the Easter lunch and dinner buffets at The Verandah are priced at HK$ 1,028* per adult and HK$ 808* per child.
From 8 to 9 April 2023, children can also participate in an Easter egg-painting workshop at The Verandah Café. Swiss-style Easter Lunch at Chesa
For guests wishing to celebrate Easter in traditional Swiss style, Chesa – The Peninsula Hong Kong’s cosy and romantic Alpine chalet – presents a special seasonal set lunch.
The menu includes Rainbow trout confit with avocado mousseline and arugula salad, Roasted pigeon salad with celeriac remoulade and pine seed vinaigrette, Cream of mushrooms with stuffed morels, Roasted lamb saddle with honey-glazed baby carrots and lavender sauce, Pan-fried cod fillet on risotto with fennel, cockles, and saffron cream, and a dessert of Lime mousse, mango and ginger jelly with long pepper French toast and yoghurt sorbet.
The Easter set lunch menu at Chesa is available from 7 to 10 April 2023 and is priced at HK$ 728* per person.
Easter Weekend Brunch at Felix
Easter Sunday at Felix is especially festive this year, thanks to a spectacular Easter Weekend Brunch menu prepared by new Chef de Cuisine Aurelie Altemaire.
It features dishes such as Hokkaido snow crab with Tokyo turnip, yoghurt and coriander, Tiger prawn tempura with orange and jasmine sauce, Easter lamb for two, Grilled A4 Kagoshima Wagyu tenderloin with crispy onions and red wine sauce, and Black Forest tart with vanilla cream and cherries.
Free-flow beverage selections accompany the Easter Weekend Brunch. Available from 9 to 10 April 2023 and is priced at HK$ 988* per person.
