Quinta do Lago, situated in the heart of the Algarve, has revealed its 2024 lineup of sports camps. Esteemed athletes, including Ashley Williams in collaboration with Football Escapes, are set to return to the resort, hosting week-long football camps during the spring and summer seasons.
Welcoming Families with children and teens of all ages, Quinta do Lago offers an opportunity to engage in golf, tennis, dance, and football camps, encouraging participants to remain active, refine existing skills, and explore new hobbies away from their digital devices.
The majority of these camps will be held at Quinta do Lago’s multi-sports hub, The Campus, renowned as one of Europe’s prestigious sporting destinations for training, recovery, and rehabilitation.
In this environment, aspiring young athletes, as well as those looking to try something new, can immerse themselves in a professional atmosphere with camps guided by top-tier players and coaches, complemented by resident professional trainers leveraging the resort’s exceptional facilities and the region’s world-class climate.
Soccer Camp with Football Escapes
England’s international players and football icons – Ashley Williams, Joleon Lescott, Shane Long, and Gary Cahill – are set to visit The Campus, offering children an unparalleled football experience during the 2024 school holidays.
Collaborating with Football Escapes, these well-known former footballers will mentor young players, covering the intricacies of dribbling, shooting, and the dynamics of organised matches.
Six sessions are scheduled throughout the year, each consisting of three-hour daily sessions across a week. Participants will receive a comprehensive kit comprising a shirt, shorts, and socks, along with a medal upon completion of the week-long course.

Dance Camp
The Dance Camp hosted at Quinta do Lago promises an electrifying experience for kids at The Campus this year. This exciting opportunity invites children to immerse themselves in a world of dance, where they’ll discover and practice various styles, routines, and impressive tricks within a lively and supportive atmosphere.
Designed to be inclusive and engaging, the camp encourages even the most hesitant dancers to embrace the joy of movement, fostering confidence and creativity. As the week progresses, these budding dancers will diligently refine their skills, culminating in a spectacular showcase where they’ll proudly perform their final routine.
Dance Camp is running during Spring, Summer, and Autumn school holidays with prices from 275 EUR / £235 per week for children aged 8-12 years old with resident dance coach Dinah Josephs.
Junior Golf Camp
Golf stands as the vibrant core of Quinta do Lago, consistently captivating guests as the resort’s main attraction. The team proudly presents a specialised training camp catering to young golf enthusiasts at the esteemed Paul McGinley Golf Academy and across their meticulously maintained golf courses.
Junior golfers are invited to participate in Golf School programmes spanning from half-day to five-day sessions during the upcoming spring. Each participant will be gifted a pack containing a metallic bottle, a polo shirt, a golf camp passport, and a delightful surprise, ensuring a memorable experience.
The Academy warmly embraces golfers of all skill levels, offering guidance and support at every stage of their golfing journey.
Quinta do Lago’s Junior Golf Camp is running during the Easter holidays, Summer holidays and October half term. Prices start from 275€ for children aged 6 to 13 years – Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 12:30, and 125€ for children aged 3 – 5 years – Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 to 9:45.
Junior Tennis Camp
The Junior Tennis Camp presents an ideal opportunity for budding tennis enthusiasts to elevate their skills and revel in the sport they love. Running throughout the year and hosted on cutting-edge tennis courts, this camp provides tailored coaching by seasoned professionals within a nurturing and inclusive setting, catering to young tennis players across all proficiency levels.
