RichandRare Jewellery is celebrating the grand opening of its brand new Alice in Wonderland inspired flagship boutique on the ground and mezzanine floor at 12 Wyndham Street in the heart of Central, Hong Kong.
Following a relocation from Lyndhurst Terrace in Central, the new boutique boasts 2,300 square feet of space spread over two floors, which provides jewellery lovers more freedom to explore the wonderful world of RichandRare Jewellery.
The brand takes its pioneering and phenomenal floral art installations to the next level with a fantastical theme inspired by the famous fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland”. The focal point is a large green wall with round, twisted willows and pink and red florals at the entrance inspired by the rabbit hole, inviting visitors to explore RichandRare Jewellery’s enchanting wonderland.
Festooned with roses and a myriad of flowers, plants and mushrooms that Alice met in Wonderland all over the walls, ceilings and staircase, the space feels like a dreamy realm where visitors tumble down a rabbit hole, enter an enchanted forest and indulge in fanciful pursuits.
Inside the mesmerising boutique, they can admire and try on the unique jewellery designed by Elsa Zhao aka biubiu, the founder and chief designer of RichandRare Jewellery. Inspired by nature and contemporary life, the Hong Kong-based designer founded RichandRare in 2014, offering a wide variety of jewellery with unique special designs available at a wide price range.
Elsa Zhao is a well-known face on social media, with 200,000 followers on her personal social media accounts and a further 160,000 followers on the official account of RichandRare Jewellery on the Xiaohongshu platform.
The RichandRare signature collections include the Ancient Coins and Artisan series with the delicate textured gold Gingko Leaf pieces, all of which required meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. Other equally popular collections are the Magic Puzzle and Alphabet series, plus the Collector series of exquisite coloured gemstones and diamond jewellery.
The pieces are designed to be trendy, eminently wearable and affordable, with prices ranging from under HK$10,000 for everyday jewellery to over several millions for high jewellery. The RichandRare flagship boutique aims to offer something for every jewellery lover.
The other RichandRare boutiques are located in Shanghai and Shenzhen and are decked out in equally iconic floral décor that has set social media abuzz.
