The Riviera 77 Enclosed Flybridge is the brands largest, most luxurious and technologically advanced boat
The 77 Enclosed Flybridge – will be making her official Qatar Premiere at the 3rd annual Qatar International Boat Show from 10-14 November 2015.
“The 77 Enclosed Flybridge features the perfect mix of fishing and cruising capabilities with ultra-modern marine technology, plush and palatial appointments and, indeed, all the comforts of a world-class luxury resort. She truly is proof of just what Riviera can do – she is proof that Riviera is able to meet and exceed the high expectations of the most fastidious of owners.” said Riviera international sales director Chris McCafferty
The Riviera 77 Enclosed Flybridge on display at Qatar International Boat Show was built through collaboration between her very impressed owner, the dedicated Riviera team of designers, engineers and master craftsmen, as well as the experienced team from SF Yachts based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
McCafferty also stated that two brand-new yachts in the blue-water 77 Flybridge series have now been shipped to their owners in the Middle East and a third is now in production in a section of the world-class Riviera facility at Coomera on Australia’s Gold Coast that is specifically dedicated to building this luxurious model.
“The new 77 Enclosed Flybridge has a full range of premium options to complement her distinctive design,” he said. “Large forward windows offer panoramic 360-degree views from the luxurious saloon deck, while sweeping 10m x 0.5m safety glass feature panels are bonded to each side of her hull, providing a contemporary surface finish that visually link the stylish internal hull windows.”
Stepping aboard, the new 77 Enclosed Flybridge also offers an expansive 193.6 square-foot (17.99m2) cockpit, elegant 49.5 square-foot (22.59m2) mezzanine and four staterooms including full-beam master, along with four bathrooms and an optional, self-contained crew cabin.
“The state-of-the-art flybridge features a forward helm while an external rear tournament station ensures clear cockpit observation when docking, or when the fishing action is underway.”
SF Yachts dealer principal Francesco Pitea said the 77 Enclosed Flybridge on display in Doha features a massive and lavish sun pad and casual dining/sitting area on the foredeck, enhancing her luxury lifestyle and relaxation attributes even further.
There is also upgraded air-conditioning throughout to cater to the extremely high temperatures in the Middle East, where the mercury can rise above 50 degrees Celsius (126 degrees Fahrenheit), and is regularly above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).
“Riviera’s 77 Enclosed Flybridge includes 32,000 BTU’s of air-conditioning to the fully-cleared mezzanine deck, 60,000 BTU’s to the main saloon and another 60,000 BTU’s to the flybridge, in addition to increases across all accommodation deck cooling systems, including the fully-equipped two-berth crew quarters. Middle East owners also appreciate the fact that exposed structural areas – including the new sports-styled targa that has been colour-matched to her hull and air-intakes in Bentley Silverlake blue – have also undergone additional heat-curing treatments so they can withstand our harsh climactic conditions.” said Pitea.
The owner of the 77 on display also requested double transom doors leading from her one-tonne capacity hydraulic swim platform, and wide marlin board in order to enhance her versatility.
Francesco Pitea also stated: “The designated length of this exciting new model is based on the official hull length of 77 feet however, the stylish and sophisticated Life Serenity measures over 81 feet from bow sprit to board platform. She will certainly stand out in the sea of yachts at the Qatar International Boat Show.”
With an overall length of 81’2” (24.74m), a beam of 20’9” (6.32m) and featuring a fuel capacity of 2496 US gallons (9450L), the 77 Enclosed Flybridge is powered by twin MAN V12 shaft-drive engines (2 x 1900hp/1397kW) which achieve a cruising range of 556 nautical miles at 26.4 knots, with 10 per cent fuel reserve.
McCafferty said Riviera – Australia’s 2015 Marine Industry Exporter of the Year – will also have details available in Doha of its entire range of 17 different models from 36-77 feet and spanning five distinctive model collections, catering to an extremely wide range of boating pursuits and individual styles.
“We are continually refining our existing models and creating new models to suit the changing needs and desires of discerning yacht owners,” he said. “A luxury yacht must be able these days to be the consummate entertaining vessel, the ultimate passage-maker, the total family getaway, even the perfect home away from home where owners can enjoy extended living aboard without pining for any shore-side comforts.”
Riviera’s inspired new model development program this year has seen the launch or announcement of six striking new designs, including two new models in the clever SUV crossover series, and an entirely new Sports Motor Yacht collection.
“The SUV series – which has new 525 and 575 models – combines the high-performance, blue-water cruising and fish-raising abilities of the classic Riviera Flybridge collection, and the single-level, leisurely entertaining features of our very popular Sport Yacht design,” said Mr McCafferty. “Our owners tell us it’s like having two boats, in one, and we are very proud of the fact we have now launched over 90 yachts bearing the Riviera SUV badge.”
McCafferty said Riviera’s 480-strong team was also encouraged by the positive response to the astute and advanced Sports Motor Yacht collection which has been designed to appeal to experienced luxury motor yacht owners who desire to spend extended time cruising aboard a supremely luxurious, long-range Riviera, but still be able to fish effectively.
“The 67 Sports Motor Yacht helps motor yacht owners fulfill these dreams, offering the exhilaration of supreme sports performance as well as fantastic interior flexibility with a wide array of luxury lifestyle features to enhance precious time aboard. For example, the spacious sports-inspired cockpit has copious storage solutions and the elevated mezzanine, at the very heart of the entertaining space, includes a massive dining and entertaining area as well as direct access to the day head. There is also convenient connectivity to the central gourmet galley, positioning the chef right in the heart of the social scene.”
The new-generation 67 Sports Motor Yacht offers a fully flexible accommodation plan with a choice of three or four staterooms, including full-beam master stateroom with private ensuite. There are also options for a gym, teenager’s retreat, crew quarters or a dedicated sporting equipment stowage, depending on specific owner requirements and aspirations.
“The futuristic flybridge of the Riviera 67 is fully enclosed and is accessed via an internal staircase, with an ultramodern forward helm brimming with the latest in marine technology to ensure easy operation and to give owners more time to enjoy all the relaxing and rewarding benefits of the luxury boating lifestyle. The 67 Sports Motor Yacht is shaft-driven, and features a full stand-up engine room, while her strong and robust hull has been developed in conjunction with Dutch super yacht designer Frank Mulder – three-time naval architect of the ‘Fastest Yacht in the World’. Six of the 67-foot, long-range, purpose-built luxury cruising yachts were sold within six weeks of the new Sports Motor Yacht model announcement, with the first model due for release in late 2016. We are very confident that the 67 Sports Motor Yacht will similarly prove popular with Middle Eastern saltwater anglers as they cruise the legendary waters of Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and further afield.”
The Riviera and SF Yachts on-water display at Qatar International Boat Show will be held at Mourjan Marinas, Lusail City, Doha – a flagship yachting destination and the premier marina facility in the Middle East – from 10-14 November, 2015.
