Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced the appointment of Navnit Motors as an authorised dealer for Rolls-Royce in Ahmedabad.
A new showroom will be fully operational by the end of the year. The move into Ahmedabad adds to the current dealership network in Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.
Paul Harris, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Regional Director, Asia Pacific said: “The business in India maintains its course for sustainable growth. The appointment of a dealer in the West Indian state of Gujarat is strategically important – allowing us to service an economically significant new area of India and to meet increasing demand.”
Herfried Hasenoehrl, General Manager, Emerging Markets Asia added: “In 2005, when Rolls-Royce returned to the India market after an absence of 50 years, Navnit Motors was our launch partner in Mumbai. Today, we cross a new frontier with Ahmedabad standing together with a proven and trusted partner who is one of the most experienced luxury motoring retailers in India. The addition of Ahmedabad completes another step in our strategic plan for India, and is a prime choice for Rolls-Royce thanks to its administration and fast development.”
Navnit Motors, established in Mumbai since 1985, manages several luxury brands across five cities in India. Sharad Kachalia, Director, Navnit Motors said: “We are very proud to be able to represent Rolls-Royce – the pinnacle of automotive brands – in Ahmedabad. The city is acknowledged to be a new hub for super luxury motoring in India, and we are most committed to delivering the level of service expected by our discerning clients.”
