Chinese New Year, which in 2025 marks the arrival of the Year of the Snake, is almost upon us. To mark the occasion, Rosewood Hong Kong has created ‘Rosewood | Infinite Blossoms’, a celebration inspired by the works of the award-winning novelist Jin Yucheng. In this feature, we look in detail at the fabulous array of celebratory options the renowned hotel has lined up to welcome the new year.
‘Rosewood | Infinite Blossoms’ will be a spectacular celebration of the Chinese New Year and an exciting way to mark the arrival of the Year of the Snake. Set in Shanghai and spanning four transformative decades in the second half of the 20th century, Blossoms is a cinematic gem brought to life by the visionary Wong Kar Wai, vividly portraying life in Shanghai during some of its most pivotal years.
With Jin Yucheng’s themes of optimism and hope at its core, guests will be taken on a journey of renewal through exquisite culinary creations and thoughtful seasonal offerings, from traditional puddings and bountiful gift hampers to exclusive celebratory menus at its dining venues. It will be an opportunity to indulge in a tapestry of flavours and experiences that embody the spirit of renewal.

The Rosewood Hong Kong Online Shop will be presenting its latest Chinese New Year Collection, which comprises delectable interpretations of traditional delicacies crafted by Chinese Executive Chef Li Chi-wai, who is extending his wishes for health and happiness through his Conpoy Turnip Cake and Chinese New Year Pudding.
