ROSITA is the first co-venture by chefs and long-time friends Agustin Balbi (Andō) and Ricardo Chaneton (MONO) and brings Hong Kong a fresh take on “new” Latin American cuisine with influences from Japan and France. Helming the kitchen is Italian head chef Marco A. Livoti, previously the chef at Sake Central and mastermind of the cult-brand Holy Cannoli.
Acting upon valued feedback received from its patrons over the past few months since opening in January 2023, ROSITA introduces its first a la carte menu (alongside the original 6-course tasting menu priced at HK$1,188+10%) to deliver the fullest possible dining experience to guests.
Rosita’s menus showcase a broad spectrum of the Latin American experience, elevated with Japanese sensibilities from Chef Agustin and classical French flair provided by Chef Ricardo.
ROSITA’s New A la Carte Menu
Available for both lunch and dinner, the new a la carte menu features some of ROSITA’s most popular dishes, such as Arepas (HK$98 for four pieces), soft Venezuelan cornmeal bread stuffed with either chicken salad with coriander and avocado, or a vegetarian option of avocado salad with coriander and togarashi, and Empanadas (HK$118 for four pieces).
Other options include traditional homemade Argentinian pastries stuffed with either hearty, hand-cut beef stew with olives and chimichurri sauce or the vegetarian option of sweet corn humita with onion and white salsa.
Appetisers not to be missed include Rosita’s Signature Ceviche (HK$198) prepared table-side with marinated market fish, Hokkaido scallop and strawberry, and Argentinian Beef Tartare (HK$158) with corn foam, Kalamata olives, piparras and cassava root chips.
Highlights from the main courses that are designed to share amongst the table, include Argentinian Beef (HK$488), 28-days aged Argentinian beef tenderloin served with chimichurri, roasted mashua and pickled radish, and signature South American-Style Rice, a heartwarming stew-like dish of Yumegokochi rice, white asparagus, piquillo peppers and peas, with the guest’s choice of either Ping Yuen Chicken Rice (HK$628) or Spanish Gambas Roja Rice (HK$780).
No true Latin American meal is complete without dessert, and ROSITA delivers this with its sweet choices of Torta de Chocolate (HK$128), Valrhona 70% chocolate with caramelised banana and passion fruit sorbet, Grandma Flan (HK$98), smoked flan with strawberry and tonka bean, and classic Churros (HK$68) with cinnamon and dulce de leche sauce.

About ROSITA
ROSITA was borne from the minds of veteran chef-founders Ricardo Chaneton (MONO) and Agustin Ferrando Balbi (Ando), who have partnered with head chef Marco A. Livoti to bring a fresh iteration of New Latin American cuisine to Hong Kong.
The restaurant has been designed as an extension of the home and is an excellent place to escape the bustling city and savour the comforts and pleasures of a true Latin dining experience.
The menu doesn’t only focus on Latin-American cuisine; there are also Japanese and French influences, which pair well with the restaurant’s South American-focused wine list.
