For gents, a visit to John Lobb bootmakers where guests will be able to choose from their luxurious accessories collection or order the most beautifully hand-made shoes as skilfully crafted for politicians, celebrities and notables for the past 170 years. This experience could include a grooming session at Truefitt & Hill, a visit to shirtmakers Turnbull & Asser, and on to Saville Row tailors Henry Noble.
Food fans can enjoy a visit to London’s best-known cheese shop, Paxton & Whitfield, for a special tasting and discover an impressive collection of pours provided by the wine masters Berry Bros & Rudd.
And for the ultimate in motoring, a tour at Bentley dealers H R Owen can be booked, where a stunning display of luxury cars is on view. Guests will also be granted special access to see one-off models in restricted areas of the showroom.
Guests will receive a celebratory gift on arrival at the hotel, handpicked from long-standing Royal Warrant Holders Fortnum & Mason, along with a beautifully illustrated map to enjoy a walking tour of the Royal Family’s choice retailers.
Those looking for added luxury can request an enhanced package to enlist the company of a retail expert to personalise a half-day shopping and styling experience of the finest shops and boutiques that have received the Royal family’s exclusive sign of approval. This additional experience can be arranged directly with the hotel’s concierge.

After a busy day of shopping, guests can indulge in a special edition afternoon tea, the RoyalTea, created by award-winning chef Sally Abé and designed specially to celebrate the Queen’s incredible milestone.
Set in the beautiful Orchard Room, the RoyalTea menu includes savoury sandwiches with a touch of Conrad London St James luxury, such as ‘Coronation chicken with baby gem lettuce’. Sweet treats use ingredients that have their own Royal Warrants – Lyle’s, Rowntree’s, and Wilkin & Sons, purveyors of Tiptree jams. The dainty, elegant cakes include ‘Liz’s choccy biccy sandwich’; Sally’s take on the Queen’s favourite chocolate biscuit, incorporating pieces of biscuit and chocolate mousse coated in chocolate.
