Thailand’s luxury boutique resort, The Sarojin, has launched an ‘eggcellent’ new Easter package for guests seeking a five-star experience that gives back to the local community and environment during their stay. The package represents the hotel’s commitment and passion for responsible and sustainable tourism.
The five-night escape is available this April from THB 55,105* (approx. GBP 1,300), inclusive of accommodation for two in a luxurious Garden Residence room, private return airport transfers from Phuket International Airport featuring complimentary wi-fi, cold beers, soft drink refreshments and cold towels, daily a la carte breakfast with sparkling wine served until 6 pm and one Thai Favourites dinner for two at the property’s Edge beachside restaurant.
Additional community-focused activities within the package include a visit to the local social enterprise project Avautis, which aims to provide sustainable employment and financial support for autistic adults and education for autistic children in Khao Lak.
Here, guests can help Avautis attendees collect eggs from the project’s farm, which can then be brought back to The Sarojin and served at the guests’ next breakfast.
Participation in one of the resort’s recently launched ‘Yoga for the Community’ sessions is also included, where The Sarojin’s expert yoga teacher will guide guests through a restorative hour of stretching and toning designed to help calm the body and mind.
The classes take place within The Sarojin’s tranquil grounds upon a shaded pavilion in its luscious gardens, and all profits raised from the classes are donated to The Sarojin Khao Lak Community Fund.
To complete their stay, guests can join the hotel team on one of their regular One Booking One Tree planting days, part of an initiative launched by the resort in 2022 in collaboration with the National Parks of Phang Nga, which commits to planting one mangrove tree along the local coastline for every booking made at the resort.
April also offers guests the chance to visit the popular Similan Islands. For an optional additional charge of THB 7,800 (approx. £185) per person, guests can join a full-day snorkelling group tour aboard The Lady Sarojin boat to discover the archipelago’s vibrant reefs, which are teaming with marine life and colourful coral formations.
The tour includes all equipment, guides, cold towels, a gourmet lunch, and an all-day open bar serving beers, sparkling wine, wines, soft drinks, and water.
Bookings can be made by contacting the reservations team at +66 (0) 76 427 900 or by emailing info@sarojin.com.
