Tickets are on sale for the world’s largest motor-racing festival, the Silverstone Classic, which takes place from 29-31 July at the iconic British motor racing venue, Silverstone.
The Silverstone Classic is one of those must attend events for fans of all things motoring related. The event provides an ideal opportunity for fans of all ages to get up close and personal with cars you’ll rarely see on the open roads. Even if you’re not a petrolhead, there’s a huge amount to keep you occupied including live music, shopping, auctions, aerial displays and even a village green! Luxurious Magazine will be present through Paul Godbold (The owner and founder of Luxurious Magazine), who’ll be among the ten of thousands fans, drooling over the cars that papered his walls during his teenage years.
Last year, more than 100,000 graced the home of British Motorsport in 2015 for the Silverstone Classic’s Silver Jubilee and with even more cars, headline music acts and a new Family Ticket, 2016’s festival is set to be the biggest yet. For a limited period, visitors can benefit from discounted Early Bird tickets.
The Silverstone Classic is the largest festival of classic cars in the world and is a truly fantastic celebration of historic British motor racing. In addition to the excitement on the world famous Grand Prix track, the action-packed weekend also includes full paddock access, impressive track parades and displays from over 100 car clubs featuring more than 10,000 cars over the weekend. Interactive activities, dynamic demonstrations, live music, aerial displays, a vintage funfair and shopping village provide a festival experience for the whole family.
Nick Wigley, CEO of Goose Live Events, the company responsible for the Silverstone Classic, is extremely excited about this year’s event ‘The Silverstone Classic now ranks as one of the world’s top motor racing festivals and being held at the home of British Motorsport only adds to the sense of occasion.
‘With live music, a shopping village and aerial displays complementing the racing action, the Silverstone Classic is a must-do event for all the family.’
