Sime Darby Auto Performance established Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Car Division.

Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP), the official importer of Porsche in Malaysia, introduced the Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Car business at Porsche Centre Bukit Bintang and Porsche Centre Glenmarie starting from 17 March 2012.

Speaking at the opening event, Leonardo Sacchetto, Head of Porsche Pre-Owned Car said, “The Porsche Pre-Owned Car programme gives Porsche enthusiasts a chance to own a Porsche earlier at purchase price within reach. Owning a Porsche always started as a dream and we are trying to make this dream come true through our Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Car.”

Pre-Owned cars at Porsche Centre Bukit Bintang are certified with Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Warranty and have passed through the 111 point inspection. The inspection includes stringent criteria set by Porsche manufacturer including check on the car driving record, car exterior as well as interior quality check, engine and brake pad check, professional test-drive and many more criteria down the list. Any fault found with the vehicle during the inspection will be rectified so as to restore the car to its original conditions. Upon the completion of the series of repair and maintenance works, with the assurance that all criteria are met, only then SDAP Pre-Owned Car After Sales department will grant the final certification – Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Warranty. As the saying goes “there are no old Porsches, just new owners,” the Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Car programme is intended to give owners and potential customers a broad choice between a new and pre-owned vehicle with an additional benefit: a Porsche Approved vehicle. All Porsche Approved Pre-Owned cars come with a comprehensive 24-month Porsche Pre-Owned Warranty, a 24-month Porsche Roadside Assistance Service and customers are given the access to the history of the car complete with documentation from date of manufacture, proof of original mileage and most importantly all cars come with attractive financial packages.
