The Spirit Of Christmas Fair will take place Monday 30 October – Sunday 5 November 2018 at Olympia London.
It’s not long now until the most festive event of the year – apart from Christmas itself of course. The Spirit Of Christmas Fair will be returning to Olympia exhibition centre on 30 October. Running for seven days, it’s a much-anticipated event which last year, attracted almost 50,000 shoppers. It’s the home of Christmas shopping with hundreds of stalls to browse, festive workshops to join and a pop-up restaurant to indulge at. So here’s what you’ve got to look forward to and why you won’t want to miss it.
Over 800 stalls
Only the best independent, boutique and artisan sellers get a spot at the fair. So you’ll have the chance to shop one-of-a-kind pressies that you won’t find elsewhere. Get ready to swoon over hand-made Christmas decorations, unique toys, stunning party frocks and lots more.
A gourmet food hall
Foodie’s listen up. The food hall is a must-see. From award-winning Christmas puds to the finest truffles and caviar, it’s all there. There’s even a section dedicated to Great Taste award-winners. For your bank balances’ sake, don’t turn up hungry.
Mosimann’s Winter Restaurant
While we’re on the subject of posh nosh, royal caterers and private dining club, Mosimann’s, will be hosting a winter restaurant at the event. They’ve designed a special menu for the occasion which includes festive favourites like game terrine, roast turkey with chestnut stuffing, and a spiced fruit compote. There’s also a boozy afternoon tea.
Champagne on tap
Louis Roederer Champagne Bar is the perfect spot for a shopping pit stop. Sip on some fine fizz and enjoy decadent nibbles while you take stock of your Christmas shopping.
Craft workshops
And finally, the much-loved workshops will be making their return to the fair this year, so you can learn tips and tricks from some of the best in the business. There’s cake decorating with Master Patissier Eric Lanlard, flower arranging with florist to the Royals Simon Lycett, and Christmas cooking masterclasses with Emily and Giselle Roux (the daughter and wife of Michel Roux). Oh, and the best part? All the workshops are free.
