Sundance & Partners is now providing a range of high-quality food products directly from their Deli to the doorstep. Jeremy Webb gratefully took the opportunity to experience one of their hampers.
Sundance & Partners before this period of lockdown and self-isolation were a specialist juice supply company working with restaurants, top hotels and bars.
The husband and wife owners have been in operation for over sixteen years working in New Covent Garden and have now teamed up with other British independents to bring you Sundance Juices, plus a whole range of other products.
They are offering the same high levels of quality and service with special access to select suppliers of fresh meat, fish, cheese, dairy, dried goods and much more.
Sundance has extended its network to help keep things moving, like-minded businesses open and people employed. They believe it is a time to support each other, and get their great products out to the people who need it most. Sundance & Partners have been working in the industry for approaching two decades, supplying fresh juices which are produced in New Covent Garden.
As consumer behaviour has changed in recent times, CEO and Founder Patrick Hofmann expanded the business to enter the business to the consumer market. Current partners who sell through Sundance & Partners’ online food hall include Willie Cacao, Savoursmiths, Dash, Spoon and Everleaf.
Patrick Hofmann said; “The way in which people shop for premium food and beverage goods is changing. Consumers want to support small, independent and local food suppliers – from their home. The customer wants to know where their food is coming from, how it is made and if it is part of a sustainable chain.
Sundance & Partners carefully choose which suppliers we want to work with. All of our suppliers are partners in the business. Collectively we are all passionate about delivering a premium service to all of our customers. This starts with looking at how the food and drink products are made, to how we deliver the goods in minimal, recyclable packaging.”
The experience…
A courteous driver delivered my hamper which was crammed with great looking produce.
A selection of fruit and veg, jars and packets. The brands of the goods are all artisans which are another excellent reason to choose Sundance. You are helping smaller companies through this challenging period. Another benefit is you try different flavours in some items, like the truffle crisps from Savoursmiths which I devoured without letting anyone else sample some.
We all tried and enjoyed the ginger and raspberry juice which is a lovely pep up in the morning, with a kick of heat. Another product for the mornings is the delicious Spoon apple & almond butter Granola. Perfect with milk or yoghurt it is unsweetened and so lovely. I cooked the fresh pasta and asparagus the evening of delivery so it was at its best.
I made my own carbonara sauce for the fusilli which I served al dente after enjoying the asparagus as a starter, lightly blanched then fried in butter.
You will not be disappointed with the quality of the goods you receive and it is worth paying slightly more than the supermarkets for the benefits. Ease of getting a delivery slot, fresh perishable produce and delicious items.
Sundance & Partners will deliver to London and the home counties with a minimum order of £20. They aim to deliver within three days; however, you can place orders up to a week in advance.
Deliveries run from 9 am – 9 pm daily. Prices will fluctuate as all their products are fresh.
