Are you still looking for the ideal way to make this Mother’s Day the most memorable one yet? Why not treat mum to a very special meal cooked in her home by one of the world-class SUPPER STARS chefs?
This is a great gift for busy mums who love to socialise – and the perfect present for sons and daughters who want to pamper mum and show how much they care.
The menus available reflect each chef’s individual food influences and experiences. With this unique treat, Mum can sit back and entertain friends and loved ones as the chosen chef creates each gourmet course.
Tiago Ribeiro, one of the co-founders, said, “SUPPER STARS believes the best restaurant is at home. Where better to show Mum just how much you care than with a luxurious private chef experience, with each course professionally cooked in her own kitchen?
“Whether a biological mum or an important female role model, we all want to show how much we appreciate her on Mother’s Day. Our limited edition menus are a celebration of that bond and the perfect gift idea for those who know they want to give a special present that won’t soon be forgotten.”
From the Italian chef to movie stars and film crews, Fabio Costa comes a fresh, vibrant menu featuring a quinoa salad with nuts and fruit, entrée of salmon with garlic, soy and greens and to finish, mascarpone cheese mouse with puff pastry.
A second Italian chef, Marco Meloni, has carefully curated the flavours of his homeland with dishes sure to transport mum to the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany or glamorous shores of Lake Como.
His Mother’s Day menu features homemade ravioli with aubergine and mozzarella sauce, sea bass with olive tapenade, basil crushed potato, saffron fennel and confit tomato and almond mousse with strawberry and crunchy chocolate caviar.
Daniel Salvador’s Mother’s Day menu is the epitome of elegance with purple salted cod carpaccio, slow-cooked lamb leg with black olive couscous and Spanish pisto all leading up to white chocolate and blackberry pistachio cake.
Fine dining chef Sofia Vieira has also called upon her time in Michelin-starred kitchens for her specially created menu, which stars a potato and onion velouté with crispy cabbage, Iberian ham and cornbread with an entrée of Stuffed chicken supreme with bacon and chestnut mushrooms, baby heritage carrots and chestnut purée, followed by a dessert of panna cotta, with fresh fruit and pineapple coulis.
Finally, the creative, homegrown chef, Gary Tunstall, will serve up roasted sweetbreads, pommes Anna, stuffed cabbage leaf and red wine jus with the main course of spinach, pumpkin and wild mushroom wellington, roasted carrots and mushroom sauce finished by a clafoutis of blackberry and clotted cream ice cream.
SUPPER STARS private chef experiences are available from £50 per person. Select a chef, choose a menu and book online. The selected chef will arrive on the day, at the agreed time with all of the necessary ingredients, will prepare and serve the meal and then clean the kitchen.
Gift cards are also available for those who wish to plan something special for a future date.
