Set in one of the most sought-after areas of the UK, The Dairy is your home away from home. Teamed with a private chef, it makes the perfect luxury retreat all year round.
The low-down on The Dairy
The Dairy is a five-star converted eco barn and holiday home set in the idyllic Cotswolds. It’s ideal for both summer staycations and cosy winter breaks.
The 3-bed Dairy is available to hire through Mulberry Cottages. It can also be booked with the neighbouring barns to sleep a total of 55, which makes it a popular choice with families, and stag and hen parties.
Design and facilities
The Dairy has been beautifully renovated to be both modern and comfy, while retaining its country charm.
Double-height windows flood the ground floor with natural light and provide heavenly views over the meadows, while underfloor heating keeps the place snug. A spot-lit mezzanine level walkway adds a touch of glamour and creates a sense of openness. And both the heating and ventilation are eco-friendly.
Whether there’s something to celebrate or you’re just in need of a chilled weekend away, the barn comes stocked with everything you need. There’s a Bose wireless speaker, board games, Wi-Fi, an enormous fridge and freezer, a big family dining table and a dishwasher for quick clean-ups.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is every foodie’s dream with its induction hob, island worktop and all the pots, pans and utensils you could need. For an additional cost, you can also request Mulberry Cottages stock up your fridge with food and drink for when you arrive.
All three double rooms come with luxurious bedding, fluffy towels, en-suite bathrooms and The White Company toiletries. There’s also a separate bathroom downstairs.
The Dairy has its own patio area plus a shared terrace, where you’ll find outdoor games and an impressive BBQ.
What’s nearby?
The local area has plenty to keep you entertained, aside from cosying up in the barn of course.
If you’re a member, the famous Soho Farmhouse is within walking distance.
The award-winning organic Daylesford Farm is a short drive away and is well worth a visit for its artisan food, drink and homewares – plus the tranquil Bamford Spa.
Some of the most famous Cotswolds’ towns and landmarks are on your doorstep; Stow-on-the-Wold, Cheltenham, Oxford and Blenheim Palace, with Bicester designer shopping village just a little further on.
