So, what’s available in The Palm Beaches in 2022? Well, there’s an array of classic spa comforts at some newly refreshed and timeless properties, taking travellers on the ultimate wellness escape to some of Florida’s most renowned luxury hotels and resorts, and just in time for Global Wellness Day on 11 June 2022.
Visitors, guests and locals will be able to experience everything from groundbreaking facials to signature ritual baths that are guaranteed to leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed this year. To whet your appetite, below are some of the incredible offerings awaiting visitors.
Eau Spa at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa – Palm Beach, FL
One of only 48 spas donning the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating, this enchanting wonderland invites you to leave your worries behind and treat yourself to a day of pampering and relaxation. Existing features include the Rain Forest (below) a large scale candle-lit Wishing Well (lead image), free-flowing champagne and cupcakes, 19 customisable treatment rooms and much more.
Eau Spa is also excited to be Florida’s exclusive provider of the Oxygeneo 3-in-1 Super Facial™– a groundbreaking treatment developed using vegan, natural ingredients that oxygenate and nourish the skin. The spa has also just introduced Rosé Saturdays. As part of The Boca Raton’s $200-million-dollar regeneration, The Palm Beaches welcomes the newly revamped Spa Palmera. Exquisitely reimagined with lifestyle expert Colin Cowie, the Alhambra Palace-inspired wellness sanctuary exudes tranquil bliss, offering guests a wellness journey unlike any other. It starts with the spa’s signature Ritual Bath – a series of water-based experiences that begin with a warm aromatic bath and scrub in a luxurious personal tub. Renowned wellness pioneer Tammy Fender has brought her world-class Spa services, facial treatments and all-natural skincare collection to The Palm Beaches’ Opal Grand. The partnership amplifies the destination’s impressive wellness collection, where guests are invited to relax, replenish, and refresh at the two-story wellness refuge.
Signature services by expert practitioners include the Tammy Fender Signature Facial, which consists of gentle and rhythmic techniques to increase circulation as well as custom blends of botanical ingredients to reveal a renewed and glowing complexion and a simultaneous 30-minute feet reflexology treatment. Each treatment is designed to re-energise the body, mind and spirit with indulgent plant-based facials, conscious body treatments and energetic balancing for the ultimate self-care experience.
The Spa at PGA National Resort – Palm Beach Gardens, FL
This legendary golf resort has recently undergone a stunning $100 million revitalisation across every aspect of the property. Included in the large-scale enhancement is a luxury spa redesigned by V Starr, which is set to open this month, inviting guests to lavish in a new era of wellness.
At 40,000 square feet, the spa brings an oasis of luxury. Drawing inspiration from its South Florida surroundings, its décor is expected to be tropical and soothing and will feature three mineral pools with enriching properties from France, Turkey and beyond, a new couple’s treatment room, two Himalayan salt rooms, hair and nail salon, a 1950s-inspired barbershop with a robust collage of vintage golf photography, and an outdoor pool deck and bar.
Wellness Center and Spa at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences – Singer Island, FL
Set to open at the end of 2022/early 2023, the new development will unveil spa and wellness amenities that will bring extensive services and modalities rooted in the five pillars of wellness: mindfulness, nutrition, fitness, relaxation and sleep. The Center and Spa will bring a hammam, an oceanfront relaxation lounge, 29 treatment rooms, two couples suites with a private ocean view terrace, and specialised treatment rooms (Thai massage room, Ashiatsu massage room, two body scrub treatment rooms) as part of its health-oriented offerings.
Additionally, an “Aayush Hydrothermal Experience” – the only indoor/outdoor hydrothermal experience in Florida will lead guests through the healing properties of water whilst spa treatments on Amrit’s private beachfront make for the ultimate relaxing experience. Yoga, spin, meditation, Tai Chi, Pilates, boot camp, Qi Qong and more are also expected as weekly workout classes.
