The Princess Charlene Salon
To celebrate the princely wedding, Van Cleef & Arpels has redesigned and renovated its boutique in Monaco. In homage to the new Princess, the Maison inaugurates an exclusive space : the Charlene Salon.
Van Cleef & Arpels has the rare privilege of having been chosen by the bride to create a set of jewellery: Océan exalts the grace and elegance of Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene. This pledge of love, offered by the Prince to his Princess, who chose its name, transforms into a tiara. Since 1956, Van Cleef & Arpels has held the honour of being “Official Supplier to the Principality”. Such a privilege demands the highest standards: that of being at the pinnacle of the art of jewellery creation.
Alhambra, Van Cleef & Arpels’ iconic motif, was born in 1968
Van Cleef & Arpels’ Mains d’Or have created a setting technique of the utmost refinement, minimising the amount of metal and emphasising the diamonds.
The stones are selected in different sizes so as to enhance their sparkle. The jewel is as gorgeous on the front as it is elegant when turned over: the exclusive honeycomb open-work setting having been perfected to let even more light refract into the diamonds.
