Le Mas Candille, the stunning French 46 room, 5 star luxury hotel close to Cannes is inviting guests to experience the ultimate gastronomic experience of a lifetime at its Michelin starred ‘Le Candile’. ‘Chef celebre’ Serge Gouloumès, who runs the restaurant will allow guests on Friday or Saturday evenings to go behind the scenes of the kitchen during its busiest time, to take prime position at the chef’s table and watch Serge create a sublime eight course tasting menu before their eyes as they dine with the electric atmosphere of the bustling kitchen.
During the gastronomic experience, Serge will take the guests through each of the courses, explaining how to create a taste sensation using the freshest, seasonal ingredients that he hand selects from Cannes Market every morning. The special menu will include succulent fresh fish, an extensive cheese board and dishes such as “Farm rack of lamb from Auvergne cooked with Mediterranean herbs, roasted baby aubergine and pepper, lamb jus with Pouilles olives oil”. Chef Serge is an extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable host and is passionate about all the cuisine he creates making this unique gastronomic experience an absolute ‘must’ for foodies.
The ultimate gastronomic experience is open to non residents of the hotel, however if travellers would like to stay at Le Mas Candille, rates start from £306 based on two people sharing, breakfast included. The Chef’s Table 8 course gastronomic experience costs 195 euros per person including a glass of champagne.
