Groupe Ducasse Paris, a multidisciplinary group with more than 2,000 employees engaged in two main activities: Restaurants and Manufacturing (chocolate, ice cream, biscuits, and coffee), has announced the appointment of Tom Lerouge as Managing Director.

Tom Lerouge, a 35-year-old engineer and entrepreneur, has joined Groupe Ducasse Paris’s management team to work alongside its founder, Alain Ducasse, and its president, Véronique Lartique.

His appointment is in the spirit of Alain Ducasse’s wish to have the group headed up by individuals from different generations with varied, complementary skills and vision.

Tom Lerouge graduated as an engineer from ESTACA, a higher education college specialising in aeronautical and automobile engineering.

He followed this up with research work at CentraleSupélec (a graduate engineering school) and the ENS Cachan (an elite higher education institution).

He has held positions of responsibility in project development and management in companies such as Zodiac Aerospace and Edeis.

He has also founded several companies, such as Tribute, a high-value residential real estate company, and LFTO, a Family Office specialising in investment in funds or companies in the hospitality sector.

Tom Lerouge’s profile corresponds to Alain Ducasse’s desire to call on talented people outside the world of gastronomy to help the group develop.

In his new job, working together with Alain Ducasse and Véronique Lartigue, Tom Lerouge will focus on speeding up the development of Alain Ducasse Manufactures in France and abroad, on operational profitability, on continuing the international development of the Alain Ducasse brand, and improving the group’s operational profitability.
