For their Fall 2014 Collection, Tumi draws inspiration from the vibrant city of Amsterdam. This new collection brings together design, engineering, craftsmanship and a hint of the future.
Amsterdam’s old-world charm reunited with a picturesque destination inspires an assortment of travel and lifestyle accessories for the global citizen. The world-renowned artwork of Netherlands’ native Rembrandt is reflected in the Fall color palette of deep, darktones of Olive, Navy, Garnet, Sapphire, Harvest and Fossil. Fall delivers refreshed new collections including Tegra-Lite® Max, Alpha 2, CFX, Sinclair and Journey.
Here are some of the highlights in the Tumi Fall 2014 Collection:
The Tegra-Lite® Max is marketed as Tumi’s toughest, strongest hard side travel collection. A fully functional and inwardly flexing front U-zip pocket, expansion, new double 360° turning wheels, Tumi’s patented Durafold™ construction and telescoping X-Brace® handle system are key benefits found within the new collection. The collection launches in an assortment of colours: T-Graphite, Black Cherry, Baltic, Sunrise, and an intricately woven Herring brown pattern.
CFX is new for Fall 2014 and is Tumi’s newest premium collection of travel, day bag and small accessories made from true soft carbon fiber. True to the natural color of the material, CFX will be available in Carbon with a lustrous dark grey sheen. This collection is available in a range of styles, including the Silverstone International Carry-On, Adelaide Soft Duffel, Sebring Tablet Cover and Double Billfold Wallet.
Alpha 2 – An upgrade to TUMI’s iconic ballistic nylon collection, Alpha 2 business cases represent an evolution of the traditional briefcase. With a modern, updated design, Alpha 2 briefs illustrates a slimmer structure which overall makes the cases lighter in weight. Available in ballistic nylon or
nappa leather, Alpha 2 will launch in a new Olive hue in both soft and select travel styles, alongside core Black and Espresso color ways.
Mission is inspired by San Francisco’s storied Mission District, the Mission collection has a casual design using natural grain leather on day bag styles including the Harrison Brief, Folson Duffel and York Tote. Ballistic printed design details are found on the trim and lining of each style, referencing to an iconic element found within the brand’s DNA. The new collection will be offered in Iron, Navy, Tan and the seasonal Chocolate Suede. Also introduced into the Alpha Bravo collection is the Cannon Backpack. Simple in design and accented with pops of color it will be available in canvas, ballistic nylon or leather.
Rivington and Bowery Small Leather Goods: Casual with a touch of texture, the Rivington collection combines natural grain leather with smooth
leather trim details available in styles including the Gusseted Card Case ID and Global Double Billboard in a seasonal Port hue.
Sinclair – Appealing to the professional business woman, the Sinclair collection will debut with a fresh assortment of sophisticated totes and briefcases. Refined and tailored in look, box grain coated canvas brings a modern sensibility to the classic silhouettes.
Journey – Functional and fun, the Journey arrives this Fall. Perfect for packing in last minute essentials, the assortment includes a variety of cosmetic cases and multipurpose pouches in six new vibrant colors: Atlantic, Fuchsia, Plum, Leaf, Garnet, Sunrise, and Autumn Eclipse.
Prism – Stay organized with an array of bright small accessories. Newly updated in smooth leather with textured leather detailing, Travel Document Cases, Wristlets for iPhone, Slim Card Cases, and iPad Cases offer a monogram feature to add a personal touch tocoveted essentials.
