The UN Tourism Global Conference on Wine Tourism in Armenia

The 8th UN Tourism Global Conference on Wine Tourism, hosted by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, will take place from September 11 to September 13, 2024. The conference will be an immersive experience for attendees and an ideal platform to showcase Armenia’s rich and ancient winemaking traditions.

The UN Tourism Global Conference on Wine Tourism presents a unique opportunity for experts from across the growing field of wine tourism to identify emerging trends and development opportunities. The event will bring together a diverse range of international participants, including representatives from public entities, destination management organisations, global and intergovernmental bodies, wine experts, and other key stakeholders. In addition, it will serve as an innovative forum for people to collaborate and devise solutions to help strengthen the global wine tourism industry.

With its blend of ancient winemaking traditions, indigenous grape varieties, diverse terroir, and a profound cultural connection to wine, Armenia is an ideal host for the 2024 conference.
