Vintage Alhambra Pink Gold Collection
Firstly introduced to the House’s botanic garden of jewellery in 1975, Alhambra Vintage collection has enthralled the world with its brilliant colors and rounded designs. The pearly outline of a four-leaf clover comes in as a simple line of rose gold, free from other unique embellishment, filling it with elegance and delicacy. Rose gold adorns Vintage Alhambra with a new femininity: warm, intense and mysterious. A delicate material to craft, rose gold demands specific savoir-faire. The Maison’s Mains d’Or weave a fine chain and enhance it with the pearl contoured motif in rose gold at regular intervals. For decades, Van Cleef & Arpels has been using a special alloy that combines gold, copper and silver. The presence of copper gives the precious metal subtle pink highlights which make the jewel glow with warm light.
Charms: Time is a Gift
Because time is a gift, Van Cleef & Arpels has created Charms a delicate timepiece that adapts to every moment of the day with perfect elegance. The watch is round, with an Alhambra inspired guilloché pattern on the dial and a dazzling bezel: two lines of round diamonds separated by, according to the model, a ribbon of polished gold or a line of larger diamonds. These successive frames give the case a subtle volume, with a slightly curved profile and the Van Cleef & Arpels signature engraved on the its side. The ultimate detail is the delightful charm in the shape of a diamond-set Alhambra motif. Attached to the side of the case by a ring, this four leaf clover turns freely around the dial as if dancing to a magical tune.
