The annual London Boat Show takes place from the 10th-14th of January 2018. Luxurious Magazine takes a look at the most interesting exhibitors you need to get acquainted with.

Taking place from January 10th-14th, the London Boat Show brings the very best of the maritime industry to the big smoke. An eclectic assortment of brands will showcase their wares at the ExCel, from startup companies to superyacht behemoths.

On top of the interesting exhibitors, the show offers a number of attractions to keep the whole family entertained. This year, there’s even the ‘Beach Club’; an ‘urban beach experience’ where families can play on the sand or even take the water to try sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking.

For those seeking less active pursuits, the ‘Legends Theatre’ features talks from the great and good of the sailing fraternity, there are also a number of bars and the late night Thursday session featuring music, fashion-shows and the Yachting Awards.

Among all the many things to see and do there are still the select exhibitors who Luxurious Magazine readers should make a beeline for.

E-boatique – The Electric Boat Experts

E-boatique, as the trendy name suggests, is a forward-thinking company which specialises in electric boats. At the London Boat Show the company will be showcasing a truly beautiful British-built Windermere which boasts an electric propulsion system developed in Henley-on-Thames.

The electric boat industry is projected to be worth $20 billion by 2027 and with the worlds most beautiful waterways imposing both temporary and permanent bans on fossil fuel powered vessels, it’s worth discovering electric boating today.

Virtually silent, less harmful to the environment than fossil fuel propulsion and requiring little to no maintenance, electric boating looks set to be the future.

Our favourite part? The fact that E-boatique doesn’t just focus on modern boats it even transforms classic gas guzzlers into serene electric vessels.

Sunseeker & Sir Geoff Hurst

Sunseeker need no introduction here but they will be getting one at The London Boat Show courtesy of the only man to ever score a hat-trick in the world cup, Sir Geoff Hurst.

Sunseeker bagged a few winners themselves during 2017 as they unveiled four stunning new models, including the 68 Sport Yacht MKII and the Predator 57 MKII.

The brand is suggesting they will be releasing news of a big partnership on the opening day of the Boat Show, so stay tuned!

Ventura Rivamare

Ventura have suggested they will have the ‘most beautiful powerboat’ at the whole of The London Boat Show and claim the vessel in question, the Rivamere, is akin to the ‘Rolls Royce of powerboats’.

It’s hard to argue with Ventura’s assertions. The 39ft Rivamere, from Italian boatbuilders Riva Yacht, is a stunning weekender and we’re looking forward to getting to grips with it at the show.

A classic Riva in style with elegant lines, a sweeping stern and sleek wooden deck, the Rivamere is a beautiful open top vessel well-worth a glance at the boat show.

If you are planning to place an order, you might need a Rolls Royce sized bank account, as the Rivamere goes for approx. £700,000 which could bag you two Rolls Royce Dawns. Is it worth it? We’ll see find out at the show.
