7Pines Resort Sardinia, part of Destination by Hyatt, has officially opened its doors to guests. This luxury beachfront property sits on the sought-after north-eastern coast of Sardinia with 15 hectares of untouched coastline and a nature reserve in Baja Sardinia overlooking the archipelago of La Maddalena.
With 76 rooms, this newly-opened property is said to offer a laidback luxury feel. It is home to one main private beach and four secluded coves offering spectacular sunset views. In addition, there is a beach club with its own private jetty; three restaurants, including a fine-dining Mediterranean restaurant for a gourmet Italian dining experience; and an 800sqm Pure Seven Spa complete with a gym and outdoor tennis courts.
7Pines Resort Sardinia is the first Hyatt-affiliated hotel in Sardinia, and the second Destination by Hyatt in Europe, joining 7Pines Resort Ibiza.
Rooms and Interiors
Guests can choose from 76 individually designed rooms, including eight junior suites and 20 suites, all with a choice between sea views or beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens. Every space pays homage to the spirit of the island and its cultural traditions. Architecture, materials and fabrics all honour the nature of the Gallura region, perfectly blending with the atmosphere and style that Costa Smeralda is known for.
The rooms and suites use granite and white marble from Orosei, local artisan ceramics, and craft textiles from Samugheo to create fresh, airy, light spaces reflecting 7Pines modern and relaxed interpretation of luxury. The harmonious relationship between indoor and outdoor living, facilitated by large windows providing plentiful natural light; outdoor terraces; and lavish gardens, is fundamental to 7Pines Resort Sardinia.
Dining
The resort has carefully crafted a diverse gastronomic offering for guests to enjoy in a relaxed setting at any time of the day. The team, led by Executive Chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio, have hand-picked the finest independent Sardinian suppliers across the resort’s three restaurants and bars.
Capogiro, the resort’s fine dining restaurant, offers panoramic sea views and creative Mediterranean cuisine that celebrate the island’s local culinary traditions with freshly grown seasonal ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. Overlooking the resort’s spectacular pool, Spazio restaurant offers a ‘market-style’ counter where guests can choose from various Sardinian sourced fine meats and fish for grilling on the open barbecue.
Spazio will also be home to an interactive corner dedicated entirely to Sardinia and one of its gastronomic symbols: culurgiones- a unique stuffed pasta similar to a dumpling.
The culurgiones will be prepared live with guests being able to pick their favourite filling. The pool bar offers a range of nutritious juices made from fresh fruit and vegetables grown on the resort’s grounds. A natural oasis nestled between granite rocks and the emerald sea, the Cone Club combines beach life, music and nightlife, creating the perfect laidback setting by the waterfront.
The menu has been created by Michelin-starred chef Tohru Nakamura in collaboration with local producers, farmers and fishermen, along with signature drinks from award-winning mixologist Philip Bischoff (50 Best Bars of the World).
The Mediterranean dishes are a tribute to the joie de vivre, influenced by Sardinian traditions and adapted to the location’s character with excellent laidback beach cuisines. The House Bar is another novelty by 7Pines. Within each room and suite, guests will have access to a private corner bar with ingredients, tools and recipes to make cocktails to perfection.

Whilst the notion of laid-back luxury is at the heart of the 7Pines Resort Sardinia experience, the resort also has an abundance of exciting experiences for those seeking adventure.
