Celebrate the British Summer with an Afternoon Tea at the Belfry

Celebrate National Afternoon Tea Week (12th – 18th August 2024) with a quintessentially Great British Summer Afternoon Tea at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.

Served in the award-winning Brabazon Bar, guests can indulge in a delightful array of sweet treats inspired by the fresh flavours of summer and meticulously crafted by The Belfry’s dedicated pastry team.

Served on distinguished Royal Crown Derby China and priced from just £31 per person, the seasonal afternoon tea includes:

Warm, freshly baked raisin and plain scones with West Country clotted cream and strawberry jam.

• Buttered banana malt loaf.

• Raspberry and matcha tea opera cake.

• Caramel chocolate tiffin.

• Madagascan vanilla and poppyseed cheesecake.

• Belfry lemon curd tart.

• Strawberry and cream dacquoise.

• Savoury bites include finger sandwiches and a chickpea panisse with stilton mousse, pear and walnut.

Guests can choose a tea from The Belfry’s ‘Quintessential’ menu including The Belfry’s House Blend, composed of the finest Darjeeling and Ceylon leaves; the Brabazon Blend, a hand-crafted mix of premium black Chinese sencha and oolong tea with juniper berries, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus and tomato flakes creating an alcohol-free “gin and tonic tea”; or the White Peach Sangria, a light, refreshing and alcohol-free take on a white wine sangria.

The Belfry’s Great British Summer Afternoon Tea is available until 8th September and is served daily between 12 pm and 4 pm.
