Chef Tom Aikens will be no stranger to regular readers of Luxurious Magazine and fans of the culinary world. The renowned chef is one of the most talented and best-known names on the food scene. He has added another feather to his burgeoning cap with the announcement that he has now taken on the mantle of Chef Ambassador for ASKO.
Leading Scandinavian appliance brand ASKO has announced world-renowned, Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens as its Global Chef Ambassador for 2024. As the brand’s Chef Ambassador, Tom will collaborate closely with the brand to showcase the versatility and performance of its kitchen appliances.
From innovative cooking techniques to imaginative recipes, Tom will provide exclusive insights and inspiration to food enthusiasts eager to elevate their culinary skills and bring some Michelin-starred inspiration into their homes.
Inspired by a stripped-back approach to cooking and a passion for sourcing the finest local and seasonal ingredients, Tom’s creations embody the ethos of ASKO—quality, sustainability, and excellence.
Tom will also support the brand at events throughout the year, with confirmed appearances so far at EuroCucina in Milan (16-21 April) and IFA Berlin (6-10 September). Visitors will be treated to live cooking demonstrations showcasing the quality of the ASKO appliances and a Michelin-starred tasting experience from the celebrated chef.
At age 26, Tom became the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars. He has over a decade of success working alongside famous chefs and in Michelin-star restaurants. Tom holds a Michelin star at his flagship restaurant, Muse, in London and runs restaurants in Tokyo, Jakarta, and Qatar.
Anders Hellgren, Global Marketing Manager at ASKO, added, “We are proud to welcome Tom Aikens to the ASKO family as our esteemed Chef Ambassador. His unparalleled expertise and dedication to sustainable cooking perfectly aligns with our brand values, and we are excited to embark on this culinary journey together.”
