The Swiss watch company Ball has its origins in North America, following a Railroad disaster. From that unfortunate incident, a legacy of precision watchmaking has grown, leading to their latest model The Roadmaster TMT.
The Roadmaster TMT bears the company’s famous RR which represents RailRoad, from the company’s formation by Webb C. Ball, who was appointed Chief Time Inspector of Railroads following a horrific crash. The accident was a result of the Conductor on one train failing to stop at a station because his watch had stopped.
The timepiece is built tough to tackle anything thrown at it, weather, extreme conditions and darkness. It measures every climate with a patented mechanical thermometer. Scorching heat to the frigid cold it will not fail you.
They are designed to be precise whatever the circumstances, the ingeniously modified movement utilises a special oil that ensures flawless operation down to –40°C temperatures. Micro gas tubes shine on the dial and the aluminium bezel. The watch that once ran America’s railroads now empowers world explorers to live freely and fearlessly.
Cutting-edge Swiss luminescent technology is used on the Roadmaster, so it does not require any form of external charging. It is crystal clear in darkness due to self-powered micro gas tubes on the dial and hands. They automatically illuminate in low light conditions. To assist counting elapsed time, the aluminium rotating bezel features a micro gas tube inset at the 12 o’clock position. The bezel’s numerals are coated with Super LumiNova.
Beautiful design result in uncluttered black and blue dials. 40mm and 43mm stainless steel strength. Black and blue rotating bezels. Tone-on-tone stylish design.
The Roadmaster TMT inherits the sport elegance DNA that epitomises BALL Watch with the streamlined case.
The bezel extends beyond the case for a better grip, and the sapphire crystal case back allows a glimpse of the mechanical calibre that powers this engineering marvel.
