With strong local ties to the North East, international cricketer and England vice-captain, Ben Stokes, has been announced as the official brand ambassador for Seaham Hall and its soon-to-launch new Residences.
It’s been a good couple of weeks for Ben Stokes. At the end of June, it was announced he’s be captaining England in the first test against the West Indies and now he’s taking on the role of brand ambassador for Seaham Hall, one of the most beautiful hotels in the North of England.
Ben has called the area his home for the past 11 years. Living just ten minutes away from Seaham Hall he’d become a regular visitor to the all-suite hotel’s Serenity Spa with his family and also enjoyed several special-occasion nights away in the hotel’s guest suites over the years.
Ross Grieve, Seaham Hall’s Managing Director, says: “Our new partnership with Ben further builds on Seaham Hall’s connections with the local and regional community. He is a celebrated local star here in Durham, and we’re very proud to have him associated with, and be the face of, our hotel and spa, plus the forthcoming launch of our new Residences.”
Overlooking the rugged Durham Heritage Coast, 24 luxury lodge Residences are set to be unveiled by Seaham Hall this August, within a newly-designed landscape setting. Available for purchase, owners will have the opportunity to use the Residences themselves and/or to rent them to visitors through Seaham Hall.
Each of the new luxury Residences features a spacious terrace, floor-to-ceiling windows, luxury interiors and private parking for two cars. Guests at the Residences will have full access to Seaham Hall’s facilities and concierge service during their stays, together with other local benefits, including reduced green fees at nearby Sharpley Golf Course. Investment in the new Residences will create up to 190 jobs in the construction industry and supply chain, plus additional new roles at Seaham Hall.
Ben Stokes said: “It is a privilege to work with Seaham Hall, a local business whose values and strong ties to the community I greatly respect, and whose extraordinary and historic hotel is an absolute joy to experience.
“Seaham Hall is not only a superb hotel and spa in terms of its luxury facilities and great location, on Durham’s Heritage Coast, but I am always very impressed by the incredibly friendly staff, who deliver five-star service that’s very different from the norm – it’s friendly and relaxed and hits the spot perfectly.
“I look forward to working with the Seaham Hall team over the coming months and to building a strong association with the brand, and both its existing and new fans.”
As the face of the brand, Ben will be working closely with the Seaham Hall team on several exciting projects, which delve into all aspects of the hotel and spa.
