The Biltmore Mayfair, the first property by LXR Hotels & Resorts in Britain, has opened on London’s iconic Grosvenor Square.
The 307-room Biltmore Mayfair combines exquisite contemporary accommodation, stunning views across the gardens of Grosvenor Square, and world-class cuisine by Michelin Star restaurateur, Jason Atherton.
The Biltmore combines early 20th-century glamour with modern architectural details. If you’re looking for an ultimate treat book into one of the 57 luxurious suites. For those very special occasions, you’ll find personalised embroidered pillowcases and monogrammed bathrobes. To add that extra luxurious touch, inside the bathrooms, guests can pamper themselves with quintessentially British amenities by Penhaligon’s.
Guests within one of the eight signature suites will find there is no need for a mini-bar. Instead, there is a leather-encased cabinet with eight full-sized bottles of champagne. Even the youngest residents will feel utterly pampered in the signature suites with bathrobes, coloured toothbrushes and access to a complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar during their stay.
The Biltmore Mayfair is also home to the capital’s most sought-after new restaurant concepts from world-renowned restaurateur Jason Atherton:
- The Betterment features a seasonally driven menu, from locally-sourced fish and meats that are wood-fired, to signature salads and plant-based dishes.
- The Pine Bar operates as a sophisticated bar with classic cocktails, exceptional wines and delicious bar snacks, including home-cured charcuterie.
- The Tea Lounge, located within the hotel lobby, is ideal for enjoying one of London’s finest afternoon teas, and indulge in a selection of homemade sandwiches. Guests can also enjoy sweet delicacies including a Dorset spice apple cake and lemon and lavender macarons, in the Writer’s Corner.
- Finally, within the heart of the hotel is The Terrace. Here withing this relaxed area are stunning floral arrangements, sweeping greenery and glimmering fairy lights. Open all day; the Terrace is the perfect spot to drink and dine under the stars.

Jason Atherton oversees the food and beverages in the Biltmore’s event spaces. The ballroom, which measures 500 square metres is the ideal location for larger events such as a wedding reception holding up to 700 guests. For something a little smaller; The Waterloo Suite holds 80 guests and the slightly larger Manhattan Suite can hold 100 guests. The Kendal Suite is ideal for intimate gatherings as it can comfortably host 40 guests. In addition to these, the hotel also benefits from a state-of-the-art fitness studio where you can ease your conscience after enjoying the delicious cuisine.

The Biltmore Mayfair joins Habtoor Palace Dubai, LXR Hotels & Resorts, as the second property within Hilton’s collection of luxury hotels. The brand made its world debut with the opening of Habtoor Palace during August 2018.
