In the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Blancpain realised an exceptional auction for the Monaco Association Against Muscular Dystrophy.

Blancpain, classicdriver.com and RM Auctions are proud to announce the sale of Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3 raced by winner Blancpain President & CEO Marc A. Hayek during 2011 Amateur-Class championship ADAC GT Masters Series for 155’000 euro. 100 percent of proceeds from the vehicle’s sale, including auction commissions, will be donated to the Monaco Association Against Muscular Dystrophy (AMM) in its fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Blancpain was the first watch manufacturer to commit to supporting the Monaco Association Against Muscular Dystrophy. Over the past decade, the Manufacture in Le Brassus has aided AMM’s endeavours through participation in various activities including the first “Monthematic” projects in the early 2000s through to the latest Only Watch auction held in September 2011.

Blancpain is supporting AMM action together with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco – Helping every child, teenager, and young adult affected with Duchenne muscular dystrophy is what we all aim for. For over a decade, Blancpain has constantly supported the Association and renewed its commitment to this cause. Thanks to his faithful partner, the Association has been able to develop a long term vision and to fund research in order to find a treatment for the 250’000 people affected by this pathology.

Blanpain is proud to support once again the Monaco Association Against Muscular Dystrophy led by President Luc Pettavino and is committed to continue throughout its action.
