In a time where many yachts are becoming somewhat ‘blobbish’ in their looks, it pleasing to see a leading boatbuilder launching a boat with classic lines and in a traditional colour scheme.

Crowbridge is a 42-metre custom explorer yacht which was designed by the renowned Florentine-based architect Tommaso Spadolini.

In addition to her classic lines, she offers a very impressive range. To give you some idea of what Crowbridge is capable of. She can travel 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots which would take you from Liverpool to New York in one go.

Tommaso Spadolini, the designer of Crowbridge, said: “I’ve worked with this client many times in the past and two of his most recent yachts bear my hallmark. He asked me for a clean and simple silhouette and generous interior/exterior areas to give him and his family plenty of spaces to spend long holidays in total relaxation.”

As for Crowbridge’s interior design, the Owner wanted something elegant yet understated. “The yacht has seven guest suites and four cabins for Captain and crew. All areas, both interior and exterior ones, both private and social, will pamper, delight and entertain all on board as they are on holiday,” said Spadolini.

Crowbridge is 42 metre in length and has an 8.50m beam. She is powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert delivering 970kW each at 2100rpm and has a top speed of 14 knots with a range of 3500nm at 10 knots.
