Renowned international yoga instructor Eric Paskel will be hosting a four-day series of workshops at the oceanfront luxury residences in Miami Beach for a wholistic rejuvenation of the mind, body and spirit.
Continuum in South Beach is embarking on a new year of elevated health and wellness for its community, with an internationally acclaimed talent from the world of yoga, who will make a special guest appearance to host classes exclusively for residents in February.
Yoga Rocks will be a four-day series of workshops presented by Eric Paskel, one of the world’s leading international yoga teachers, at The Continuum Sporting Club and Spa from February 22nd to the 25th. Yoga Rocks has been designed for individuals to reimagine their outlook on yoga and rediscover their own relationship between mind and body through the creation of four guiding principles led by Eric’s own themes for each session.
The introduction of this four-day series is considered the first of its kind for a private residential condominium property.
A unique characteristic of Eric’s classes is the personalised approach given to each individual, whether a newer student or more experienced enthusiast, regardless of age or shape, to ensure each person feels special and observed. Every yoga class includes sun salutations, lunges, twists, side bends, backbends, forward bends, weight barring and seated postures, guided by the following themes that will be a focus and interwoven throughout each 75-minute session.
- Day One – Whole Body Flow: This class focuses on the complete posture, from toes to temples, ensuring lots of movement and lots of sweat, acting as a one-stop-shop for the body.
- Day Two – Balance: Balancing poses aren’t about a steady body. Ultimately, they are about a steady mind, as the focus is given on an array of balancing postures that calibrate the mind.
- Day Three – Upper Body Party: This class focuses on the basic postures and movements that build upper body power and tone. Eric explores arm balances and lots more with drills that help build strength and awareness.
- Day Four – Surprise: The surprise is about going with the flow, not needing to know and trusting yourself enough to feel safe and confident when you haven’t a clue what you’ve got yourself into.
Eric will also be giving a Relationship Lecture on Love as being in harmony with anyone and everyone. Residents will join Eric for a journey into relationships like they’ve never experienced.
“We’re delighted to welcome such a renowned talent in the field of yoga to the Continuum Sporting Club and Spa.” said Rishi Idnani, Managing Director at Continuum.
Adding, “Health and fitness have been a major focus for our residents over the last 24 months, and Eric’s expert contribution to the community’s overall wellness for the body and mind will prove extremely valuable and well-received. We look forward to experiencing his insightful teachings.”
Eric Paskel, MA MFCC, has been helping couples, families, and individuals to evolve for 30 years while travelling the world leading workshops, retreats and trainings.
Corporations including Chrysler and Pilot Flying J, to name just a few, have enlisted Eric’s services as a motivational speaker. For over 20 years, through his private practice, Eric has been helping clients solve their relationship and addiction problems.
Already known as a trendsetter in the yoga world, Eric has added a record-breaker to his list of accomplishments. Using Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, as his backdrop, he hosted the event, Yoga Rocks Ford Field, breaking the record for the largest indoor yoga class. He also led the longest yoga chain in Estes Park, CO, at a Yoga Journal conference in 2012.
Yoga Rocks promises to be refreshing, inspiring, awakening, heartfelt, loud, and lots of fun, as a “kick your asana” kind of experience. These classes, each with a specific physical, intellectual and musical theme, are for anyone that isn’t perfect and wants to let it all hang out.
Following each class and lecture at the Continuum’s Sporting Club, Eric will be hosting a book signing after each event for residents.
