The Lady Arpels Polar Landscape seal decor has been decerned the prestigious Jewellery and artistic crafts watch prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2011.

The mission of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is to encourage creativity and introduce new watchmaking talent. During the evening event, eleven awards were presented, including the prestigious Jewellery and artistic crafts watch prize, which went to Van Cleef & Arpels for the Lady Arpels Polar Landscape seal decor timepiece.

Sky of turquoise mother-of-pearl, waves in enamel, icebergs in sculpted mother-of-pearl, animals with coats set with diamonds, the most precious materials ennoble an accurate movement, giving time a poetic dimension that is unique to Van Cleef & Arpels. Enamellers, engravers and stone cutters are all contributing with their expertise to enrich the work of the watchmakers and thus to create the Extraordinary Dial Lady Arpels Polar Landscape seal decor timepiece.
