Following an extensive refurbishment programme costing £2.5m, ME London’s Iconic Radio Rooftop Bar has reopened. Boasting spectacular skyline views, modern Asian cuisine, and sophisticated international entertainment, the reopening of Radio begins a new era for the luxury hotel.

Located in the heart of the Strand, ME London is celebrating ten years of innovation and individuality with the highly anticipated reopening of Radio, renowned for its spectacular views of London’s skyline. Heralding a new era for ME London, the reopening of the iconic rooftop bar brings a fresh luxury lifestyle experience to the coveted 10th-floor venue.

Led by acclaimed international restaurant designer Bernard Caroll, the rooftop bar has been transformed in every aspect. The interior design fuses classic and contemporary luxury with Eastern-inspired detailing to create an environment that is sophisticated yet subtly playful.

Details include beautiful bespoke coral reef wallpaper from Adam Ellis Studio, plush furnishings in natural dessert tones, warm oak wood fixtures, marble surfaces, brushed brass finishes, and exotic dried palms.

Taking centre stage and one of the key attributes of the reimagined 220-seated venue is a beautiful back-lit onyx cocktail bar. Trilateral in shape, the destination bar echoes the external structure of the luxury lifestyle hotel, from where Radio’s Asian-influenced discerning drinks menu can be experienced.

Served under the watchful eye of Senior General Manager Daniel Susko (previously of Annabel’s, Sushi Samba, and Soho House), guests can enjoy an extensive selection of drinks, including premium Japanese spirits; an exclusive selection of sake and shochu, inspired by the bright and bold flavours of Eastern Asia; and an extensive wine list featuring top international producers alongside emerging and interesting wines from Japan.

In a throwback to a time gone by, when savvy bartenders used the ‘sonic’ technique to improve any drink spritzed with tonic water, Radio also offers authentic highball serves and gin/sonics in collaboration with The House of Suntory.

Cocktails are expertly crafted by Radio’s esteemed team of mixologists using sous vide technology to inject increased flavour into every sip. Pantheon – a mix of Toki blended whisky, Bénédictine, pressed citrus, and demerara; and Tokyo Rose – a beautiful blend of Ukiyo Blossom gin, Lanique Spirit of Rose, lychee, raspberry, watermelon and pressed lime, are just two of the new signature cocktails to be enjoyed.

The venue’s Champagne and Provence menu has been curated in collaboration with Moet-Hennessy.

Executive Chef Federico Crisafulli leads the kitchen at Radio and serves a menu of modern Asian dishes with international flair. Formerly Executive Chef of the Italian Embassy in Tokyo and, prior to this, Head Chef at Intercontinental Yokohama in Japan and Michelin-starred Grand Hotel in Rome, Crisafulli brings with him a wealth of experience in Asian and international cuisine.

Signature plates include Maldon oysters with pickled onions, lime and red yuzu hot sauce; Japanese wagyu A5 sirloin with wasabi and ponzu sauce; chilli squid with shiso and lime; and black cod with citrus miso.

Providing a sweet finish is a selection of exquisite desserts, including Matchamisu, caramelised drunken pineapple, and pavlova with white miso. A selection of sharing menus, including a tasting menu, brunch menu, and lunch/pre-theatre menu, extend the dining experience.

All are served against Radio’s outstanding views of London’s skyline with new high and low-level plush seating and a custom-made all-weather structure providing guests with an enhanced year-round panoramic vista. Landmarks range from St Paul’s Cathedral to the London Eye, The Shard, The Houses of Parliament and beyond.

Drawing on the location’s rich broadcasting heritage—home to the very first BBC broadcast in 1922—Radio keeps this history alive with live music from internationally acclaimed DJs and vocal and instrumental artists. Be immersed in cool, deep, and smooth soundtracks throughout the day and midweek evenings and up-lifting beats late into the weekend.

Radio at ME London is open now, providing a relaxed, contemporary rooftop environment in which residents of the luxury lifestyle hotel and guests can relax, work, and indulge from sunrise to sunset.

Open daily and serving brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails, Radio is to be experienced.
