The unified governmental platform “Nusuk”, which serves the visitors of Makkah and Madinah, held its roadshow and interactive exhibition on April 30 in Jakarta. The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, and His Excellency the Minister of Religious Affairs in Indonesia, Yaqut Qoumas, along with several official figures from the Indonesian government, in addition to officials from the Saudi Tourism Authority.

According to official Saudi statistics, Indonesia is one of the leading countries from which Umrah performers and visitors come. In 2023, the Kingdom received about 1.5 million Indonesian Umrah performers and visitors.

Through this roadshow, Nusuk’s mission was to introduce the services and facilities provided by the platform to the guests of Rahman amidst a distinguished presence of commercial partners representing travel, tourism, and Umrah agencies from Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, totalling more than 700 commercial partners.

Additionally, on the roadshow, Titi Kamal, an Indonesian celebrity, affluent traveller, and influential social media figure, shared her personal experiences from her holiday in Saudi Arabia. Titi Kamal, known for her engaging travel content and insights, gave unique perspectives on exploring Saudi Arabia beyond Umrah.

On the sidelines of the roadshow, the Saudi Tourism Authority introduced a consumer mall activation, “VISIT SAUDI, BEYOND UMRAH”, highlighting Saudi’s remarkable tourism destination for all travellers. It runs from May 1 to 5th, 2024, at Kota Kasablanka.

This mall activation showcases what Saudi has to offer for spiritual, cultural and travel experiences for Umrah and beyond, and it was inaugurated by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj & Umrah, H.E. Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan AlRabiah.

“VISIT SAUDI, BEYOND UMRAH” will feature exclusive deals and offers from Indonesian travel agents and tour operators, including special discounts, cashback offers, buy 5 get one free deal, 0% instalment plans, and tour vouchers.

Another thing not to be missed is the campaign of “Saudi’s Tourist Visa for Everyone!” an exclusive and limited offer, which will be available only during the exhibition from May 1 to 5th, where the VFS Tasheer Office will accept Visa credit card holders to apply for Saudi visas.
