Featuring producers of sugar-free chocolate, wellbeing teas, raw food and ‘clean’ ketchup to charcuterie, cheeses, speciality oils and bread, the line-up is as eclectic as it is exciting.
More than 700 food and drink producers from the UK and beyond will be part of the Fair, including nearly 200 suppliers making their debut. It is an unrivalled showcase, and opportunity, for independent retailers, chefs, hoteliers, restaurateurs, wholesalers and distributors to discover the undiscovered.
The show with an appetite
The artisan revolution continues thanks to an insatiable consumer appetite for fine food and drink. From centuries-old heritage brands to up-and-coming new food businesses, Speciality & Fine Food Fair is a vibrant platform for everyone. An experience for all of the senses, buyers can soak up and savour the atmosphere – a celebration of the passion of producers for their crafted products, and their industry.

A fresh chapter
Speciality & Fine Food Fair has given a fresh look for 2017, with refreshed visitor attractions – as it reclaims the intimate ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ feel it has long been renowned for. Exhibitors have also been curated to ensure that only the very best are there.
A new Discovery Zone has been introduced to showcase the finest artisan gems from businesses that are under 36 months old. Producers include Alive Biome, Bath Water, Black Saffron, Collagen, Dear Muesli, Eat Your Hat, Flower & White, Ginger Bakers, Hay Wines, Pure Maple, Sleep Well, The Veggie Plot and Wild Planet
Speciality Chocolate Fair has been merged into the main body of the Fair, and instead, visitors will tread the Speciality Chocolate Trail to discover the very finest gourmet chocolate and confectionery. Producers include Amelia Rope Chocolate, Beech’s Fine Chocolate, Chief Chocolate Officer, Choctails, Dragees Reynauld, J Cocoa, Lauden Chocolate, Ottar Chocolate, Raw Halo and Zotter.
Refreshed attractions include Savour the Flavour: Live Kitchen, which will feature practical tips and advice from some of the industry’s most experienced chefs and personalities. It is also the place to keep up to date with the latest flavour trends, menu design styles – and issues such as sustainability.
Food for Thought will offer visitors workshops on trending topics, product innovation and much more. They will also have the chance to be amongst the first to source Great Taste products – with the Top 50 finalists, and overall champion, on display in the Great Taste Deli.
New for 2017
teatime – Stand 2842
New brand teatime is launching a range of all-natural, perfume, chemical and caffeine free, gourmet herbal tea blends. The range includes a detoxifying Tummy Tonic with fennel seeds and senna leaf and Berry Berry Brainy with blueberries, goji berries and silver needle. Available in boxes of eight sachets.
Spice Kitchen – Stand 3072
Masters of all things spice, Spice Kitchen, are launching four new spice tin collections including two sea salt sets, a rare chilli collection and a barbecue collection. One of the salt collections has been produced in partnership with award-winning Welsh sea salt company Halen Mon and includes sea salt with Chilli & Garlic, Charcoal – or Celery Seeds.
Great British Biscotti Company – Stand 3221
The Dorset-based bakery has taken the biscotti market by storm by giving it an innovative makeover. The latest additions include savoury flavour combinations: Wild Garlic & Rosemary, Jalapeno & Cheddar, Seaweed & Cracked Peppercorns and Sun-dried Tomatoes & Olives. Available in 100g boxes.
Ouse Valley Foods – Stand 4220
Having launched a refreshed look, Ouse Valley Foods are expanding their award winning range of preserves, offering a new range of delicatessen products. They include two pestos, a vegetarian tapenade, two different types of mayonnaise and a delicious version of the Sicilian classic caponatta.
