Recently we published the in-depth road test by Simon Wittenberg on the incredible Maserati Quattroporte GTS – To expand on this, we proudly present the official Maserati video of the Quattroporte
For the road-test Simon headed to the raw beauty of Northern Ireland using the coastal route to explore the full capabilities of the Quattroporte GTS and this was obviously going to be fun as it is the most powerful car currently available in the Maserati stable with a top speed of 190mph!
The engine inside the Quattroporte GTS is a rip-roaring twin-turbo 3.8 litre V8 pumping out an impressive 530hp, on top of this, the engine was built by Ferrari in its Maranello plant, and these ingredients would guarantee huge smiles, excitement and some considerable concentration.
It is not a small car, at over 5 metres in length it has the impressive proportions of a true luxurious grand-tourer. As you would expect from Maserati, the interior has more of its fair share of luxury. The interior is leather clad and has enough legroom in both the front and rear. The Quattroporte GTS is also filled with gadgets including an 8.4” touchscreen, satellite-navigation, reversing camera and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium surround sound system.
